Haha, I was actually being quite kind to you there... what I needed to say was much stronger. Now go to bed, you’ve got a few thousand people to convince that grandad Jezza has got something worth voting for in the morning.

I’m sure your wonderful personality will just shine through and win them over... unless they’re skeptics, then they’ll be lambasted because you can’t hold a meaningful discussion without slanging insults... goodnight.

Can’t see it being a successful GE for Labour, but then they somehow pulled it back from the brink last time. Probably another hung parliament and a waste of a few more months. The joys.

you should spend some energy and time getting angry about the real things that matter. Not the stuff you read in the sun.

    there, hostilities recommenced ;)

Yes. There needs to be a concerted TV and Radio campaign to get students to register and vote by whatever means. When I was a student in the 70s, I was in Newcastle and registered to vote there because Labour wouldn't miss my vote at home (Bolton on Dearne). I voted in Newcastle for the October 1974 election.

Anyone who votes to make a bigot, the biggest lier ever known in parliament, a racist, a person who treats woman with contempt, and every job he, as had in parliament, made a ball's up of it. To be our next Prime Minister ya Boris the Buffoon. Wants hitting overhead with the barm pole.

I'd normally say violence is not the answer. But maybe in this case I might just make an exception.

I rather fear that Boris will win handsomely, despite the fact that I agree with everything Upthecolliers has said. But this raises the question: just how many 'barm poles' will we need? How big are they? Where do you get them? What do they look like? Do they take much maintenance? So many questions! No use asking the club, I suppose!:)

In Kendray in my young days it was always: "Ass'll fetch t'bobby!" Obviously this was before Tory austerity and Police cutbacks.
