Thing is when we signed him I expected him to be a squad player, utility guy, a few starts here and there, coming off the bench etc 12 months time be ready to start. Little did I know we’d sign no experienced players and he’d end up being one of our main men. Feel sorry for the lad

Genuine question - how old are you? If he's the worst player we've ever had how long have you watched us for ....

Sibbick does look like someone who has won a raffle.

That being if the raffle was done around Oakwell and the winner got a go in the starting 11.

It’s not his astounding lack of positional sense, inability to find a red shirt with 8/10 passes or lack of bite in the tackle for a defender that worries me the most. It’s his sauntering back when we’re under the pump despite being a defender that upsets me the most.

Its not about being a ‘scape goat’, Sibbick simply isn’t good enough and it’s highly unlikely he ever will be in The Championship on his initial showings.

I’d absolutely love to be proved wrong. But I can’t see it.

I can fault his effort. Switches off, can't anticipate where a ball is going to go; worst player in the team by a country mile.

No second goal for them if he was any sort of a defender.

I've not seen him for the last 4 games but prior to that he was very Brad Potts of 2017, glimpses of what he can be but largely disappointing.

I'm not sure what he is, and I don't think the two managers we've had know what he is. He's not a right back by any means, he's showed bits when at center back but has made alot of mistakes too, and he played ok in center mid but is he better than what we have in that position? No chance.

I like the lad, I like him because he plays for us and I can see the effort but unfortunately effort alone isn't enough in this league. His first touch can be woeful and I don't see a natural footballing brain on him. Is that because we've been getting smashed most weeks? Maybe... but he's been at fault alot of times in those games.

Fortunately for him, he will get given time here and alot of it as he's a future 2/3 million pound player. Unfortunately for us, we'll have to endure him making alot more mistakes and bad performances until he gets to that level... but the sad part is that statement qualifies for every single player we have in our squad. The results don't matter, this is business. Or it is to our owners.

It was Sibbick who could and should have prevented the corner in the first place.

We forgetting Cavare just wonders around all game? Having Diaby cover his back every single time.

Sibbick seems at a loss of what his job is at defending dead ball situations and is often at the wrong side of his man. Last neet he was poor and in second haif a cross came over for him to attack and he stood and watched it go by him. Doesn`t look like a defender at all to me, manager thinks different though.
