Good result for us tonight. Points difference +1 and goal difference -1 for us. Beat them on Saturday and Middlesbrough to lose, would be the best way to go into the International Break.

 

I think they will try & bounce back. We can beat them, but will not be a walk in the park. We will need to eliminate errors & be more clinical. I expect Woodrow to be heavily marked, so we need others to step up.

 

A must win game. We have to start beating teams, especially those deep in the s**t with us.

Stoke are actually favourites to beat us, b365 have them 6/4, us at 15/8, the draw 11/5. I know we are sh!te but in the Clash of the Sh!te 'uns, surely they're worse!

 

We’re going to have to be up for this game physically, to get anything.

 

We have to be ruthless. My tactic would be to pepper Butland with everything, crosses into the box and shoot on sight. He’s clearly shot of any confidence at the moment and we need to exploit that. He’s not the player we had here all those years ago, and I hope his horrendous form continues Saturday and beyond. Shame because he comes across a decent individual but it’s dog eat dog down the bottom.

 

We need to avoid giving away corners and free kicks as they are massive and we are p**s poor at defending set plays.
If we do that and take the game to them we can beat them because they are utter sh**e.
