After seeing Aapo's first two first team appearances plus an U23s match, I said to my lad 'he'll never make it as a footballer'.
Ate my words and learnt not to judge too quickly having watched him grow in confidence game on game including two terrific performances in marking Chris Martin and Sam Surridge.
Good luck Aapo. And thanks for proving me totally wrong.

After seeing him against Carlisle I thought we'd signed a massive waste of space and that he wouldn't be any good. He's proved me and other fans wrong big time. Well done young'un.

Surprised he's not getting picked for their first team. It's not like Finland are a football powerhouse. It's not like he's being kept out by the quality of when Sami Hyppia was a centre half for them.

Let’s not go overboard here, he’s had 2 decent games the last few weeks.

We are still shipping goals for fun and both Halme and Diaby have been at the centre of that defence.

Halme has taken a pleasing improvement but nothing more. He was absolutely rubbish for months first off.

He definitely had some poor matches at the beginning but if I remember back to the summer this is the one the Leeds fans were most upset at losing

Said pretty much same thing to a friend - he's come on in leaps and bounds since I first saw him against Carlisle
