The conversation over DS took over 20 minutes. And people are reacting to short sentences. One of the group took full notes and will be publishing the items discussed but in more detail. But as said previously it wasn't a warts and all meeting. For reasons given. The advisers recommended that statement be put out. But in hindsight DM said it damaged the relationship with the fans which was regretful to say the least. It was put to him that they should have taken the media teams advise. But I got the impression the advisers overruled. A more in depth report will be forthcoming re the expenditure. But 95% of revenue has gone back into the club at this time and reasons given. In other news, Woodrow, Dougall, Mowatt and Chaplin will all be cashed in on in January, with Collins, Radlinger and Cavare loaned out to L2 clubs. The club will bow to fan pressure and bring in Peter Crouch and Micheal Owen to give the desired experience everyone craves.

 

Did DM specify who they meant by "advisers"?

 

Is this a rumour? I don't see why they couldn't explain that in the first place if it was the case, maybe Chef Tyke might state otherwise.

As I said supertyke. The short comments do not tell the whole story. But you chose to slag off with such little information. You personally will never be satisfied on any explanation. For that I have no doubt. But that is your perogative.

 

And I will say again why wait 30 days to give 20 people a 20 minute explanation yet afford the other 11,000 just 21 words.

Give us all a sensible answer to that and perhaps then I'll listen to the second hand explanation

To be fair to us, the tweets coming out of tonight didn't infer there was a longer explanation to follow. We can only go by what little we've been told.

When a fan favourite gets sacked with a brief statement the fans are naturally going to speculate. To believe otherwise is daft.

 

Just that Helen. DM said he didn't personally like the statement either before it was published.
