Sorry, looks like a duplicate as I hadn't seen the existing post from last night.

    As you were.

Looks like the SFA have more nouse for identifying toxic owners. Hope for their sake it doesn’t happen.

I think that's a bit uncalled for. Partick Thistle have got us and Nice to look to whereas the full situation hadn't been realised in Nice by the time they took over.

So what you are saying is that Patrick Cryne didn’t do due diligence on the investors before he sold them the club and got his son involved with them , and he was conned by the Consortium

What I'm saying is that businesses like politicians make all sorts of promises.

Disgrace, if it wasn't for Patrick then there wouldn't have been a club to be sold.

That's not strictly true is it? Peter Doyle took us out of admin.

No, he didn't. Barnsley were still in administration when Patrick Cryne took over.

What happened with Peter Doyle then? I'm sure he was at the helm during the 2002/3 season.

He was. But we didn't exit Administration whilst he was the owner.

Didn’t Doyle borrow off what could only be called userers, and when Patrick picked up the tab it was 300% more than the original debt.

Is it not possible that Patrick made a bad decision because he was under a lot of time pressure to find someone to sell to quickly? He didn't want to burden his family with the pressure of having to run the club on their own so was under a lot of pressure to find someone else. Under that pressure and knowing it's a race against time it's easy to make a mistake or to it do as much checking or be as selective as you otherwise would be.

Maybe but it’s only taken the BBS Investigative Financial Experts a few days to judge these investors penniless charlatans of the highest order who only have the worst intentions for our club , Patrick on the other hand , regarded in some parlance’s as one of the brightest business visionaries , with expert advisors financially and legally , connections around the globe , made a few mistakes and didn’t know who he was dealing with .......go on then
