She was sentenced in January (and sacked by Labour in same month), and was recalled in May (first MP to do so after a conviction), with Lisa Forbes winning the by-election for Labour in June this year.

So, while her behaviour was reprehensible, she is not an MP now and is unlikely ever to be one again.

The Trade War between China and America is one of the causes of the global slowdown that is happening at the moment. Brexit is another of the causes.

When people have less money to spend they buy less stuff. When they buy less stuff, manufacturers sack people, as do shops and people have to cut back on spending, so services suffer. When manufacturers and service providers are outside the country, then a slowdown in one country spreads around the world.

Some great debate here and if nothing else proves that people can see more and more lies and flaws in the two prime parties.

If i get my salary cut by 10% and a month later increased by 5% it would appear I'm richer if i follow some logic.

Ive seen more crime affect me and my family since police cuts and have paid 14% more policing council tax, insurance hikes for the privilege. Cant remember when i saw a copper in talking distance in barnsley.

The banking institutes own governance was poor and we blame both parties. We now will rely on that institution given services including financial
Services are our key driver of GDP and Important for FDI. But we will risk that when we leave the EU but voters know that right?

I visited USA two weeks ago and last week China on business. I have seen first hand the trade war and its interesting who feels most confident.

If we believe some the NHS will be a case for trade off with any US deals and the recent discussions with UK and US Pharmaceutical companies are reported by some to increase medicine cost by upwards of 1000%

So Im waiting for the manifesto’s. A reference point we cant really trust but yet the only documented references.

This country is crying out for a new party with credibility and trust to fix the social, crime and poverty issues, protect and invest in our services and industry, improve quality of life. It shouldn't be one or the other. Trouble is most politicians today serve themselves first.

UK burns while the politicians fiddle

What’s sad is that’s not a new thing.
What’s different now is that BoJo will openly lie about it and it goes without question.
And that’s why we’re more fooked than ever, in the internet age truth isn’t even an aspiration, it seems everything is just opinion, facts and lies are interchangeable and apparently that’s ok now.

we know what we voted for because we were asked if we wanted to remain or leave the union, it was as simple as that.

going on your analysis neither party knew what they were voting for and this is the case at both referendums held on our continued membership as nobody knows what next treaty or transfer of powers/legislation are going to be imposed upon us.

both in 1975 and 2016 we were asked the same question, leave or remain, it is then up to the politicians and civil servants to sort out the rest, your favourite clip of a female tory is taken out of context in that she was asked leave or remain and she knew she wanted to leave so voted accordingly.

I voted leave because thats what i've wanted for the best part of 40 years of adult working life,i knew i wanted to leave so voted accordingly, deal, no deal, WTO etc is not the issue, leave or remain was.

It wasn't Labours lack of regulation what control did they have over Barings Bank. The deregulation of banks started with Thatcher and as for the Gold the Bank of England and the Treasury advised Brown to sell off some Gold not all of it. The price of Gold was in free fall at the time.

Between 1999 and 2002, Gordon Brown ordered the sale of almost 400 tons of the gold reserves when the price was at a 20-year low. By 2010, the price more than quadrupled, meaning the decision cost taxpayers an estimated £7 billion. Apparently, he received a number of warnings but ignored them. Many people within the finance industry to this day refer to it as 'Brown's bottom'

The Tories are not releasing their manifesto until just 2 weeks before the vote (presumably to avoid scrutiny) and The Brexit Party are not releasing one at all. What an absolute bunch of charlatans.

    How does that work?
I mean... if you cut 'all' ties, there's lots of regulation that ceases to exist, how can we fly planes (first one that came into my head), the EU are happy to allow us to use current reg's, but if you want to cut 'all' ties, that'll be inconvenient.

Hmm we are a net importer of electric and gas via the EU if we cut that off we might be a bit cold and dark in January
Anyone who thinks we can cut all ties after 40 years of building them - rather than taking time to unravel in a controlled way is oversimplifying things

Silly question if we cut all ties how do we honour the good friday agreement which requires significant cross boarder co-operation. Or should we just cut Northern Ireland adrift and tell them to join Eire
