ARP arpeteWell-Known Member The events over the last few weeks have reached rock-bottom and are at an all time low.The question is what can be done to change things round --- IMHO.compromise is the answer. The board (the whole of it) need to bring in a manager who can bring in some experience and loans at the first opportunity and show a bit of transparency to regain any trust and respect the fans once had and the fans need to accept Daniel Stendel has left and we as a club have to move on (and I was a big fan of Daniels) . I don't think this will happen but what do I know as an avid fan of 51 years compared to foreign businessmen who have little knowledge if any of football and probably little interest in it too.
Think we're all waiting for the board to blink first! Seriously though, it is a lot easier to lose respect and goodwill than to earn it. Folk dont like being taken for mugs
Can't disagree with that but they hold all the aces at the moment. The silence from the club is deafening.
Whilst I was gutted to see Daniel go, myself and surely others have moved on now ! It’s about the silence and contempt they are showing.
It is for me. I think the decision to sack Daniel was disgraceful, the statement released was disgraceful and the silence since is disgraceful. If their aim is to alienate long standing fans who have been going for decades then they have succeeded.
It is clear there is no dialogue. The only response is to withdraw support, whether that means not attending or not renewing ST's when the time comes. This incarnation is not the club we know - it is Barnsley Franchise FC.
The lack of communication from the club is unbelievable . Nothing on the manager situation after five weeks. What the hell are the board playing at?
How do you have relations with someone/an organisation who simply won't speak to you? Fair enough, there may be legal reasons why they are unable to discuss the Stendel situation, but there is no communication about anything. I simply cannot believe there is any support for them at all, yet there continues to be. They're fk*cking arseholes. In every single respect. Good grief.
The Stendel “separation” aside I’d they can’t speak about that for whatever reason they choose that’s fine. But to then not even tell us what the plan is or what we are doing is commercial suicide. However we should have all probably paid more attention to Nice fans objections of the owners because they are doing exactly what they warned us of. We just didn’t pay any attention to it. Hopefully Patrick Thistle fans are.
The relationship between the owners and the fans isn't fractured because now it simply just doesn't exist. No communication, no consideration and no so far no consequences for the offending side.
