Doesn’t really mean much. There’s been about four others that have had similar odds since Stendel left.
What about the Manager just sacked by Grimsby. Probably in our price bracket and has had investment banking experience so would be great with a spreadsheet. Might even be good with pivot tables and show us at the top of the league.
totally lodt interest TBH.... not just in the appointment of a new coach.... but in the club in general. Yes I lay the blame at the new owners feet totally.
If we’re all totally honest you, me and everyone else haven’t lost interest because we are still here and I would suggest we always will be whilst we have a heartbeat because we care - can’t help it! Nobody can take that away.
In all the years I've supported the Reds ( re-since 1986), I have never ever known such disappointment and disillusionment. Had a chat with my son today, who also is a Red. My grandson got his first ever season ticket this season and like many of us is very also sad regarding the state of affairs down at Oakwell. Fans booing, shouting at the players, leaving in droves before the end of the game and a tangible toxic atmosphere round the whole ground . You have to ask, who can blame them.? At the moment, the on field fare is not good. As my lad said you can't really blame the players or the Coach. Unfortunately they are doing their best, but it appears that on both fronts, they don't have the skill or experience to operate at Championship level. Truly a sad state of affairs that needs rectifying sooner rather than later although I feel it might be too late.
Not just this Donny, but the sense that this state of affairs has totally been brought about by the actions of the Board.
Will be shocked if he takes it when the majority of his starting line up at his current club are age 28+
