    i bet they’re terrified of the 6 pts they’ll have taken off at the end of season leaving them in 14th instead of 10th.

    The punishment should be a Saracens-esqe, massive points deduction plus a ban from playing any player that they can not afford to have on their books(but they should still have to pay them seeing as they were happy to agree to the contracts in the first place). This punishment should then be repeated each season until they have got their spending to within the accepted tolerances and if this means they are playing in the lower echelons of the footballing pyramid, then so be it. They have millions of fans apparently, so the money they spend on the club should mean they don't stay thee for long...

    In reality, the points deduction will be a tiny, insignificant amount that will mean they easily avoid relegation and can go on spending mone they don't have for at least another 3 years or so...

    Should throw the book at them. £564k a week wage bill at one point! That’s like having 25 players on £20k a week and some besides.....unbelievable.
    Do a Rangers on em and sling em to the bottom league. I am a bit biased when it comes to that club though I do have to admit :)

    Trouble is the EFL, are as weak as dish water. Look at QPR, wasnt their fine spread over 10 seasons or something .....then they go and pay ....was it £6million for Hugil in the summer. How the hell can we compete!

    As I see it, they were around 58 million in debt, that can't right & they should be rightly punished, severely punished.
