The original post said wish we had someone like Wilder. Heckingbotton not Stendel was our version of Wilder as the local lad, one of our own, life long fan.
Hard to disagree if we didn’t lose anyone January 2017 and we added even more quality to the squad then we would’ve been around the play offs.
I see Hibs have started winning since they fecked him off. Didn't he have 3rd biggest budget in Scottish football?
Exactly, who’d have thought it... Sheff U kept their best players, and added some great additions each year to strengthen from the promotion from league 1.... they’re now competing for a top six premier league spot. Have they not got a spreadsheet? Just think what they could have done if they’d cashed in their talent!!!
If we had added a couple of players - instead of putting EIGHT of the 1st team up for sale - the momentum we had back then would have seen us in the top six - and with that momentum I reckon we could have won the playoffs. We still haven’t recovered from the fire sale of January 2017.
Make no mistake if Chris Wilder lost 8 of his first 11 he’d want to leave. If he lost 2 or 3 he probably would given how many times he’s threatened to leave over the past couple of seasons. Blades fans must have that feeling now but even better with them been in the prem

Sadly I think we are seeing their true colours with regards success and that’s just buy cheap youth then sell for profit when possible. That I believe is footballing success to these owners. It certainly isn’t my idea is success
