personally speaking I think anyone who believes in any religion has a form of mental illness. They literally act on the words of invisible people and believe they hear voices that guide their behaviour. However like Corbyn I would stand up for anyone’s right to practice their faith. Isn’t it a surprise that an extreme right wing supporter of both the tories and Likud makes a political intervention...
The endorsement of the 'Monopoly Board' cartoon and the foreword he wrote to that book touching on the theme raise awkward questions. His failure also to do enough to quell the speculation is a difficult area. Let's face it, commissioning Shami Chakrabarti, a loyalist, to write a review and rewarding her with a peerage didn't exactly ring as an independent scrutiny. It's always more easy with people who exhibit out and out tendencies and less easy with those whose conduct raise doubts. So I'm not totally sure. But his lack of leadership qualities are also a concern.
If I were him I'd sue every newspaper and TV presenter who labels him as such. They would never ever be able to prove that he was. Proving that Boris Johnson is racist, sexist and an islamophobe in the other hand would be a piece of piss
John Mcdonald said ages ago that this would happen, the closer we get to the election the dirtier it will get, this is only the begining, it will get worse.
The answer to the question, from me, is no. I would encourage people to do their own research rather then rely on various biased media outlets. I did, and my answer is no. During that research it was proven factually that there have been more Conservative party issues regards anti-semitism in the time Corbyn has been leader of Labour. Two of their party have been done for it during this election campaign, and one Lib Dem. And historically, I’d urge anyone to take a look at both parties’ record on the topic. It makes for grim reading when you realise how anti-Semitic the Tories were in the war years for example. Go read about Disraeli years before that too. I accept that a very small number of issues have been fairly raised in the Labour Party in recent years, 0.08% of members I think it was. That’s still not right. But the actual leader of the Tories and current unelected PM is a massive racist and there’s actual facts there showing so. He clearly doesn’t like non-whites. So why is that not a huge issue? Why are people (some in this thread) scrambling about trying to find a vague link to Corbyn being racist? The actual PM was racist just a few days ago on live TV when he refused to accept what he’d previously stated was racist. The Tories are shafted. Just wait until the 13th of December. Unlucky. Goodbye.
Perhaps you need to do a little research it trades on a subservient image perpetuated by a westernised culture. It’s also not a great look to accuse someone of racism whilst being racist
I'm convinced all this anti-semitic bull ***** against Corbyn is Israeli interference into our General Election and Chief Rabi is acting on Benjamin Netanyahu the leader of the Far-Right Likud Party and Trump's lapdog orders to hit out at Corbyn, and why now why not months ago it STINKS of interference.
Never mind Corbyn, ask if anyone who supports Labour if they have ever mentioned anything remotely anti Jewish, I certainly have not but I will criticise Israel all day for their treatment of Palestine!! Huge difference.
Eternal shame on Ephraim Mirvis. I have never been so despondent about the human race. There are lying cheating selfish arseholes like Boris Johnson in this world and I can live with that. But to use your faith to influence the followers of your religion in such a manner, endorsing corruption, repeating down right lies, all for your own end, at the expense of those who look up to you. It's absolutely disgusting. Shame. Nothing but shame.
But he isn’t, is he? For sure he could have been more forceful and vocal in dealing with the allegations aimed at his party (actually, being more forceful and vocal on other issues as well might have helped us avoid the current sh.itshow, but that’s by the by), but he is definitely not anti Semitic. He has spent pretty much his whole life fighting prejudices of all kinds, including antisemitism. To suggest otherwise is, at best, ridiculous.
