Total shambles, utter joke. Do they train.,embarrassing. Lost all shape substitutions offered nothing. Keeper has forgot how to catch. Sorry for the fans who have travelled. They try but some players are out of their depth.
Cavare is dreadful, individual errors have cost us all season but that lad has to have contributed to the most errors!!! Anderson isn’t a good enough footballer for this football club either. Gutted. The most upsetting part for me was no urgency, 1-0 down with a minute to go and we lump the ball up to have just Schmidt in their half. Wow Barnsley.
Are you serious?. Radlinger was superb tonight and saved us from conceding several times when the defence had lost the plot!
We’ve gone backwards literally,hypothetically whatever ally you want to call it we’ve gone. Backwards . I could understand it if the opposition were getting the better of us by being smarter , more experience , stronger , experience etc etc but it’s not that it’s players forgetting or not bothering to do anything they’ve learned ever.
What defence? I’m convinced these four charlatans are the last four winners of the half time draw. I’m sure in training they give them colouring books or Lego because they are certainly not practicing any defending. You can legislate and accept an error, everyone makes them. You simply can’t stand the same errors every, single, week which don’t look like being fixed any time soon. As a ‘unit’ this is just about as bad as I’ve seen. They have no cohesion, no balance, little pace, very little ability on the ball, no communication, the list goes on and on.
I’m getting to the point where I’m embarrassed to call myself a Barnsley fan and I’ve been watching em for 41 years . Absolutely sick of it.
We've gone back to how we played under Stendel.. No defensive base or structure in case there is a turnover of possession. We look vulnerable when going forward and teams can just sit in and break on us. At least Murray set us up with a bit more organisation.
At junior school we only had about 7 or 8 lads who played football, to get a team together we had to use all the lads in the class even those who didn’t play football, ever, they weren’t interested in it, but they had to be in the school team to make up the numbers or we couldnt have a team. Our defence reminds me of this, Woodrow and Mowatt must be completely disheartened, if we don’t sell those 2 in January that will be a bigger shock than us managing to survive.
It is soul destroying and can’t see it improving, have started feeling numb about it rather than angry/ upset now.
we should have been buying defenders with Championship experience to be in rotation with the ones we had, unfortunately our owners think you can replicate baseball theory into the Championship
