Knowing we would be hard pushed to bring in a player already playing at championship level becuase of the wage structure.. Where do we look? Defenders, tbh no idea.. Maybe we should push the boat out and just on a 12 month contract to reduce the risk find a current player in championship minimum, would have thought a few may have to offload to keep within fiar play rules? No idea of a player though.. Marc Robert's maybe? Up front, again proven strikers will cost a fortune at champ level.. How about Shankland from Dundee Utd? Realistic in terms of wages, even if it cost us a fair fee. Absolutely zero money on development players please in January. First team ready only needs to be the Ethos, plus free up some wages for a better quality player with a few goodbyes.
We will need to get rid of a fair few too in January . Bloated squad with not much quality at the moment .
What's the standard of that league? I know the scottish champ is prob way below our championship but, thought that Shankland lad playing at Dundee Utd who are probably the best side in that Div...
Our hitman missed the target and hit Woodrow by mistake in the 1st half lol.. He was shot wasn't he??
I’m honestly expecting Woodrow and Mowatt to be sold. As for incomings I don’t think any of us have a clue. Expecting some Jordan Green (remember him) type signings and probably a couple of unknown Austrians on Struber’s recommendation. Be honest, the window won’t save us. We’re 9 points off safety now and we’ve still 7 games to go before it opens!!
Nobody good will sign for us. Woodrow will go and we’ll have to recall George Miller and Victor just to field a team
How about one of these experienced defenders on a half-season loan? James Chester (Villa); Kevin Long (Burnley); Michael Hector (Chelsea - not 'experienced;' just very good); Scott Dann (Palace); Wes Morgan (Leicester City); Richard Stearman (Sheffield United); Sulieman Bamba (Cardiff City); Michael Hefele (Nottingham Forest); Tom Lees (Sheffield Wednesday). Half-season loan wouldn't break the bank - only the board's philosophy, but is already being broken, so why not make an exception? One experienced player could make all the difference, as long as it is the right one - someone who has the on-field presence and leadership to bring along the youngsters and organise the back-line at the same time. Incidentally, I checked Manuel Maranda of Wacker - games played this season = none!
Why not loan back Pinnock and Lindsey as the squad know them and how they play, both are struggle to get much game time. Also have I missed something but where is pilinos?
Someone from Admira Wacker who will make <10 appearances before returning to Austria A load of young wingers Some error prone teenage defenders No central midfielders Job done.
