    Apologies, but ultimately, football is about players. We simply don’t have players of the required quality (and experience?). Silk purse and sow’s ear springs to mind. Not being wise after the event either. Some of us have been banging on about it since the summer.

    As I said, Murray at least gave us some structure. We weren't conceding too many chances to the opposition but individual errors cost us. Struber may sort it out but his first 2
    As I said earlier, you may be right but I still feel we should have had 1 defensive midfielder in the diamond. Honestly think if Murray had stayed in charge of last two games we would have got results in both.

    You may be right, but that’s a massive act of faith. It is absolutely no coincidence that the teams that do best have the best players. As Ronnie Glavin pointed out to Allan Clarke, ‘I don’t man-mark, they mark me’. If the players are good enough, tactics come afterwards.
