If I was a Hull fan I would be salivating at the prospect - one of their easiest grounds to get to and an almost certain 3 points Id be going
Yep. 4 nil win over a good team in Preston on Wednesday, 3 nil win at Craven Cottage in their last away game. Should be bringing a few thousand at least.
How high would the Hull goals tally have be tomorrow before it becomes acceptable to sit there laughing? Asking for a friend.
When they reach 5 is probably acceptable. The next game to play is to guess at what minute the ground will start to empty. Or even the exact time Mr Conway leaves his seat.
And I expect a lot of them in tarn centre. They usually get in to tarn and also try cause a bit of trouble. Have done a fair few times in past
There's a noticeable movement for the exits whenever we concede a third goal. So I reckon around 48 minutes, just the right time to scupper any half-time team talk.
SYP (of Stoke match is anything to go by) will probably let 5 of the coaches park up in the town centre at 1030 am. Fill the pubs, then try and kick off royally. Whereas we have to stay at least 10 miles away on our travels. And only earlier this season had to eventually get special permission as our stop off was 9 miles away. Weren't allowed to go to Chorley last week. As they'd got Torquay at home !!!!! The mind boggles..... .. The police actually came into check in pub mid morn with Stokes spotters as trouble was anticipated and the visit (2nd time ever in 7yrs) was correct and saw trouble for the first time in 7 years. Don't get it me..... Its only a few years back Hull smashed that WMC up the one on Harboro Hills. We'll c what tomoro brings.
Shame there home support isnt very good less than 10k for the midweek game against preston for a city club that's shocking having said that hull as always been a big rugby league city.
Not going tomorrow, ive been a season ticket holder for years and very rarely miss a match.but tomorrow i just cant be bothered to go to watch a team thats not good enough yo compete. Ive never felt like this so early in the season but probably like a few others , i think ill stay in and be warm or go out and do something which will be enjoyable
Poor following that. If we were in their league position we would take a few thousand more and we are a town not a city. Many expected them to struggle this season but credit to Grant McCann who's doing very well there.
Terrific collection of attack-minded footballers but poor defensively. Struber was spot on today, we need to get right at them from the get-go. Tit for tat. No point trying to be cautious against these. Bowen alone has 14 goals.
Must be something about being on the coast with no one to hate to the East, Grimsby fans are scum n’all.
