Ours in the long run. I think what’s ideal is a balance between there’s & ours. They’ve gone down the route of mainly free agents & loanees where as we’ve signed solely young players

In fairness, I've always said exactly that. That our recruitment and this squad is very good in the main, it just needed a handful, maybe even just two or three, 'gold standard' Championship players, or at least player who've got lots of games underneath them. Bree would have solved right back for us and he's got enough experience and is still a great age to be able to 'realise' him as an asset one day. Butterfield would offer us the ability to dictate, has 300 games at the level, and knows the club inside out. Collins is a better version of Kieffer Moore. A mobile target man who scores for fun.
Our squad will improve as the season goes on. But it aint been helped by the board chuffing abart with new head coaches and new systems for the players to get used to. Like the Summer Sales that put us at a disadvantage from the off. They do like to make that gradient steeper to climb.
