    Not sure of the validity of this but a Middlesbrough supporting friend of mine has just told me that they are about to replace Woodgate with Warnock.

    Warnock will not go up to cold weather in Middlesboro with cutting N E Winds when he has retired with wife in Cornwall.
    There again depends on whether Wife nags him

    Perhaps it's Mrs Warnock that's getting the Boro job. Sick of her whinging husband and moving back up north.

    Woodgate has an extensive long term injury list and seems to have the backing of his
    Chairman Steve Gibson. He is hoping that replacement players can be brought in when
    the window opens in January.
