I don't know if anybody on this message board lives in the Rother Valley constituency and I'll apologise in advance because I know some people on here are sick of political posts and some are Labour no matter what but I went to university with this woman called Sophie Wilson who I have just found out is running to be the Labour MP for Rother Valley. I'll say I have voted Labour at this election, I have been a Labour member in the past and quite frankly I think I'm more Labour than quite a few Labour politicians that are around today but I will tell you all this: There lies no salvation in our futures if this woman is elected as one of the 650 most powerful people in the country. We will live in nothing but iniquity and deceit if Rother Valley returns her to parliament.
It's funny because you've actually written quite a lot but told us **** all. Details of what went on at university, man.
Basically, I thinks she's only about 23/24 (she seemed older than everybody else in the group at the time though) but there was this Labour society at university and she cosied up to the leaders of the group and got friendly with who were looking like they were going to be the future leaders of the group and then she masterminded this really (and I mean REALLY) left wing take over where she just used helped drop in two bizarre leaders that nobody had ever heard of. Another time, she was telling me all this stuff she'd said to get on to 'the panel' (which is this panel of candidates that labour uses in every council area to select specific candidates for areas) and she said (and I'm paraphrasing) 'even if you think you wouldn't obey the whip on that you should say that you would'. She just really left a bad taste in my mouth when talking with her.
I knew it!!! Yours and Sophie Wilson’s university experience involves that fishing trip of Bryn’s from Gavin & Stacey!
Nothing too terrible there. You play the game to get selected just like you say what they want to hear at a job interview.
She was always very keen on drug legalisation. Her boyfriend was on a foundation course and was around some allegedly dodgy characters often.
This isn't just a regular job interview though is it? It's a position that you should have upstanding morals to pursue and I do not for one second think that she does.
Just a little tip, mate. Start putting the word "allegedly" when speaking about someone like that on here. Just to cover both yourself and Gally/the site from any legal reprisals...
Grew up in Maltby in the Rother Valley constituency. I was shocked (though I know I really shouldn’t be with how things are currently) to see the YouGov poll predicting the Tories to edge it. Hope she wins.
Been told to **** off by Sammy Woodhouse. Insulted and belittled women protesting about the sexual exploitation of workers inside Spearmint Rhino No real world experience Sounds like she could be O’Mara MKII
To be fair Sammy Woodhouse's opinion about what consenting adults do matters no more than anyone elses
Difference is that one she’s quite clued up about what sexual exploitation is and two the terms of a lap dancing club is no touching. Never mind ‘extras’. Regardless if it was consensual or not.
Sexual exploitation of children who are unable to make their own decisions. And yes that's correct there's no defence for the unacceptable behaviour but when it comes to legal strip clubs operating correctly then her opinion is no more important than anyone elses.
Should the people of the Rother Valley not vote for a Labour candidate, based on the views of one person on a supporter forum. The allegations seem personal and based on opinion and interpretation of events. In your account you make no allegations of illegal behaviour, other than the allegation of drug use but inferred rather than explicit. This could have serious implications for yourself as this is defammatory and this forum. You are the only person I have heard of making criticism and allegations against this candidate. Bearing in mind that the difficult social, health, employment opportunities, education achievements and incomes of this and neighbouring constituencies. One would have thought that the policies of the Labour party at the moment, would be of most help to that community, whoever they vote for. Finally, if someone had made such allegations against me in such a way. Then I would invoking the relevant law against them and the site it was on as the publisher of said material. It's understandable that you don't like this person but it's not acceptable that you make defammatory allegations about them.
