Having watched this charlatan perform over the last 130 days + I cannot believe that anyone, whatever their political persuasion, can vote for the party he represents.
Time and time again he has been caught lying (including to the queen) yet some narrow minded bigots, fuelled by blind hatred for immigrants still whoop with joy at the end of every stage managed performance he makes at his
punch line "Let's Get Brexit Done"
Whilst in office he has had several attempts to do this and failed just like he has and will continue to fail to deliver his promises on housing and in my opinion, more importantly, the NHS, yet he still continues to appeal to some people.I really hope he stands by one of his promises " If I haven't delivered Brexit by October 31st I will die in a ditch" No doubt his excuse will be he didn't mention which year!
Whenever he is asked an unscripted question he is unable to answer as he isn't clever enough to think on his feet, hence the phone in the pocket incident and the dodging of Andrew Neill and Piers Morgan.
The man is a complete bellend and watching him on tv further reminds me that it is the Pantomime Season after all.
I am not saying that Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour party will get everything right and deliver on all their promises but surely they have much more in common with the ideals of most working folk.
In summary, I fail to see he how many people have been taken in by Boris, a man with a donkey's head and a hidden agenda to line the pockets of his billionaire friends at the expense of the rest of us.
Be careful what you wish for!
    COYR!!!

Well said. Unfortunately, there are lots of people who do like him precisely because he's a buffoon and tells a joke. Coupled with the vacuous slogan 'Get Brexit Done' which is appealing because it sounds easy there are enough people out there who are going to put him in power and give us another 5 years of this **** show of a Government. For the first time in my life I don't think I'm going to stay up and watch the results tomorrow night. The thought fills me with dread.

    https://yougov.co.uk/uk-general-election-2019/

It's a lot closer now than it was a few weeks ago. Within the link type in the box your postcode or constituency and see what result You Gov predict based on their members. Dewsbury ward i'm in could be one of the closet in the country with Labour expected to win by 2% with Paula Sheriff. Brexit Party running here and expected to pick up 5% is going to cost the Conservatives.

Nice to see Barnsley East and Barnsley Central predicted Labour.

I had for a moment lost faith and thought it would be Brexit Party that gone in here but happy to see its predicted otherwise. Thank god.

They've got Brexit on 30% for Barnsley, I'll be very surprised if they get that many.

It's also got Wakefield, which is my constituency with an 8 point lead for the Tories which I just can't see, bearing in mind Labour won by 5% last time round. Also, the Tories have had to change their candidate due to the previous Tory making after criticising the appearance of his Labour opponent Mary Creagh and making racist comments.

you will have Stephen White on your ballot paper standing as in independent, hes a good lad and barnsley fan but has questionable ideas about brexit and the continuing union.

No offence but he looks a bit unhinged from his twitter page, the bloke can't even spell constituency. Plus his only selling points seems to be that he lives in Wakefield. Don't think he'll get many votes, and if he does I hope they're taken from the Tories.

They once had a really good go as the BNP and only managed 9,000+

Shame I`ve had biggest part of a tree pushed through my letter box from them, most leaflets I can ever remember for an election. Money to Burn.

I'm beginnining to think I'm in that group. According to some on here I'm apparently voting for a communist, anti-Semitic, economically ignorant, anti-democratic moron. I thought I was voting to save the NHS, regenerate the economy, put a few bob into peoples' pockets, stop people using food banks and give the people a choice on a better brexit deal. I'm obviously not. I'm a complete snowflake thicko I am.

as opposed to a Fascist racist dishonest cowardly anti-Semitic, economically ignorant, anti-democratic moron?

even if the comment about Corbyn was completely correct - which is isnt it would still be the least bad option

Biggest buffoon in the history of politics. He's like Frank Spencer and Mr Bean rolled into one. Labour must be kicking themselves that they pushed Corbyn into leading the party because they should be absolutely winning with a landslide. Despite all the jibes on here about voters being thick, Barnsley will still remain true to its values and vote in Labour MP's

Haha does seem a bit daft standing in a lab/con marginal when he's got a strong Brexit stance.
