    I offered to take it out to that new real ale pub - The Bakery in Mapp - then down to the Chinese gaff, to celebrate the incoming regime.

    That ballot paper was having none of it.

    I have no political affiliation, it’s soooo big a spectrum to pigeon hole it. I think Friday will be a big day for the Labour Party for all the wrong reasons.
    The true reds will still be bottom of the table Friday

    My daughter-in-law is Polish, she's lived and worked here for 15 years, yet isn't allowed to vote in a general election. This despite the fact that she has qualified for permanent residence now. She would have needed to cough up over a grand to become a British citizen in order to get voting rights. There's plenty like her as well and most of them wouldn't be voting Tory/Brexit Party.
