    Exit poll won’t be close in my opinion. Labour 8 seats manky mob 2. Early doors yet though but I’m not giving up on this. I saw twitter and everyone made out it was doom and gloom. Nothings over till the morning.

    Not in the slightest. I worded my point as what others might think of us.
    Once we leave the UK England will be the poor boys of Europe with nothing to offer.
    A very bleak outlook for England I'm afraid to say.

    If Scotland leaves the UK then what's left won't be England, as you know Ian, it'll still be the UK, just without Scotland. And on what grounds are you suggesting that UK would be the "poor boys of Europe" relative to an independent Scotland?

    I broadly support the Scottish right to self-determinism as you know but it has to be tempered by realism. It's not going to be easy to get to where you want to go.

    No one is saying it will be easy but staying under this govt will be so much harder.
    England have this determination to alienate themselves from the rest of Europe and trading partners. This why I say England might end up s the poor boys of Europe.
