Nothing on Twitter yet. Bought mine from the box office on Monday and was told sales were going well considering the closeness of Christmas. We'll see. Reckon about 500?
561 sold, including me. Excellent support. Our fan base has definitely grown in the last few years, remember when we took 200 there on 22nd December under Keef in 2012 under similar circumstances. In fact I think we'd won more actually.
It has. 1200 to Birmingham on a week night? 850 to Shrewsbury? I have been one of just over 400 at Leicester on a Saturday in the Championship before now.
The same season we took was it 89 to Swansea City for a league cup match? I can't find our official following anywhere but i'm sure it was at the time. I remember the photo of our away following and the flags down in the corner looked like they took up more seats than our fans did.
If it was the one where Vardy equalised in the 90th minute to make it 2-2 I was there. Even in 13/14 we only sold around 1,000 for Forest just further north than Leicester, me and a few neutral mates walked up and paid on the day - sold out in advance the last 3 times we've been. Apathy may have set in for a lot of people but it seems a new generation of young uns are making up the gaps and then some. Good on them. Edit: and I can remember being one of 300 odd at Birmingham when we won 5-0 in 2012. On a Saturday (albeit on sky). Over 4 times that on a Tuesday night (also on sky) this season with, from memory, no difference in ticket prices. Fantastic.
I don't remember which game it was. But I was living in the east Midlands at the time, and their local news said that Leicester fans are set to outnumber their Barnsley counterparts by 80 to 1 tomorrow. I think there was a cheap ticket deal on which is why the home areas sold out.
