Also there was a post recently where the Wigan Chronicle or some such predicted that we'd get no more than 20 points for the season! Just one more point to look forward to then over the next 5 months
In fairness, there was only a handful of us out of the entire forum who weren't throwing toys out the pram a couple of months ago.
Whereas we’ll finish 19th. Hope the tantrum babies that said they’ll stay away, don’t do that and we can just get on with it. If they do, pity, but ok
just out of interest, how many posters are there on here. sit admin? there has definitely been a massive majority who had us down several games ago. it was all too soon to predict. I've been preaching patience from day 1. what I would really like to see now is that when we lose our next game, or two, or three, is for certain posters on here to be less harsh and malicious with their criticism of the players. it's obvious they're playing their hearts out every week so instead of the negativity it would make a change to see some encouragement instead when things aren't going well. The support on the terraces has been superb this season. we should try and reflect that on here.
I'll admit it I thought we were dead and buried. Fair play to the lads and coaching staff for the upturn in form. I still can't stand Conway though.
I have to confess I thought we were dead & buried. I'm eating my words with glee. Still a long way to go & we need a good January, where Struber is listened to, not the spreadsheet.
In fairness he his by far and away the biggest fanny on here and has been spouting this shiiiite since the back end of august .........sithi.
I admit I wrote us off after the Stoke game. Fair play to all players and staff since then. We now have a fighting chance....COYR
There looks to be around 892 accounts, but not all of the people registered necessarily submit posts. I myself used to look at the site to keep up with what was being said, but it took me a while to decide to register and join in the various discussions. I would think there's been upwards of sixty or so on the board ŵho predicted that we would be relegated. We are still not out of the woods yet, but our recent form certainly gives us hope. Winning gives everyone a lift. If we get the experienced additions that GS has said he wants in January, who knows, we might just be able to claw our way to a position of safety.
thanks for that. its probably reasonable to assume then that this forum does not accurately reflect the views of the 11000 we get every other week. interesting.
