There certainly needs to be a zero tolerance policy. The climate in the country, stemming out of words from certain political leaders seems to have made some of these idiots to think this is acceptable behaviour. It is a massive step backwards in our country. It is worse elsewhere, but that is no excuse for us not to sort this out.

I hope not, but I think the Jingoism of the commemorative Brexit coin & the flag waving will be the start of a fourth reich. It won't be the case in the whole of the country & I think we will see a very divided place made worse, instead of better. I really hope some sense could be brought into this, but I can only see things getting worse. I'm obvously a remainer, but would have been happy with a Brexit that reflected a 52 / 48% split. Instead we are heading for a car crash of epic proportions.

This is exactly what is wrong with football. Why the **** are the PFA not calling out FIFA, UEFA, FA , Premier League to take sterner action.

There has been an anecdotal increase in racist and homophobic abuse and attacks since the election result.
