I hope plans are in place to make our west stand fit for purpose as we will need the whole stand for Sheffield Wednesday game.
It was 20 pounds yesterday. It will be 36 for Wednesday game and early kick off. Not a chance there’ll be more home fans.
Was a good turnout to say we are 3rd from bottom over 13k home fans west brom brought less than 4k which I though they would have sold more.
Actually we'd need the whole of the land as far as Monk Bretton to accommodate all their fans, don't forget.
It is not a safety issue, it is no different from the south part of the West Stand. There is no specific reason to prevent the East stand being opened to away fans, other than additional stewarding. As for disabled facilities they are only available in the disabled stand at the South East corner and the wheel chair facilities in the North Stand for disabled away fans. Any disabled supporters in the hospitality facilities in the upper East Stand have to be evacuated by the use of "Evac" chairs.
Thought the safety issue was lack of toilets and using the existing ones in the south side would cause too much congestion
It's a death trap round the back of the West Stand with a decent crowd, about 8 feet to squeeze through on the corner to use the inadequate food and toilets. I sit in there, but **** me it needs bulldozing.
Ha ha. Let’s just agree to differ then. Reading some of the stuff on here about how few seats were left in the Ponty and East Stand had me quite excited but the reality was rather different. There were a lot of empty seats in both yesterday. Would love to see the Police figure just to compare the two.
