Didn’t see the game but here is a quote from the BBC match report... Celina's late long-ranger was pushed away by Radlinger, who had done as much as anyone to ensure this game would end without a goal.
He saved us with a few good saves but is still very erratic. Theres times he could stay on the edge of his area and collect the ball, but instead he charges out to clear it which normally results in the ball going straight back to the opposition. Im not sure who is the better keeper out of him and Collins.
that was a ridiculous parry. I thought he was just gonna grab it with both hands which would have been easy but he pushed it out and put us under more pressure
Pushed it away from goal, correct decision. No keeper in the world would attempt to catch that at full stretch in the last minute of the game.
Played brilliant today.... get off his back ffs. There doesn’t always have to be a scapegoat on deck decided by the hive
No one is on his back or making him a scapegoat. This was posted after the rush of blood to his head when we very nearly conceded. Criticism is still allowed isn't it? He's had a decent game but he has to cut out the moments of madness when he can be a liability.
Yes it is. But I feel like a lot of people have been slagging him off on here and on tykes talk on Facebook when he’s only made one mistake really
If we compiled a list of players who's mistakes have cost us goals, I don't think Radlinger would be top of the list. Cut the lad some slack. BTW I'm not suggesting anyone should actually compile such a list, cos that would be a bit sad. Let's just enjoy the upturn and look forward to the New Year. We're on Now TV on 2/1 if anyone's interested.
Not wishing to put the 'kiss of death' on it, but does anyone think that, at 34, Rooney will have the stamina and resilience to compete over 90 minutes with our young hungry team. Whilst they need to be wary of his experience I hope he is not a distraction and we remain aware of the threat posed by the likes of Waghorn, Huddleston and Martin. Much of the media focus will be on Rooney and hoped we are not 'sucked in' re tactics' by all the hype. Probably be ridiculed for this but I was never a fan, as I always felt he was 'overhyped' and not in the same league (literally and figuratively) as, say, Messi or Ronaldo.
