You call out Wilks for vaping/shisha yet say nothing of the fact the rest of the squad were all out on the lash? Do you really think that vaping/shisha is more harmful than the state Jordan Williams (and presumably others with them) is in with booze? The truth is that, knowingly or not, Wilks is held to different standards because he's a young black lad from a disadvantaged background.
I’ve only heard stories but apparently he’s been booted out of viper rooms in Sheffield before for being too drunk. I presume that’s along the lines of what the original poster was working with, stories and rumours.
I assumed he was referring to Jordan being in the photo of Wilks looking absolutely wasted (which everyone ignored).
It's a one sixtieth of a second micro expression. I have no idea Jordan's level of intoxication at the time, if any at all, I just know you cannot make any judgement based on a photograph.
You’re right - I wasn’t judging though; just clarifying a point. I’ll further clarify, it was the team’s Christmas celebration and if anyone believes that picture of Malik proves he’s worse than anyone else in the team, I’d have to conclude they never went out with their workmates when they were young. Or something more sinister. BTW kudos for pointing out a micro expression to someone who’s processed hundreds of thousands of portraits and wedding photos.
My opinion of the photo is it's not worthy of comment. As a smoker myself I'd advise Malik not to as it costs you money, adversely affects your health, and is unbelievably difficult to give up, but I suspect he doesn't smoke anyway and it's just a daft photo when out with his mates.
I would imagine within those photos you have hundreds if not thousands of portraits of stone cold sober people looking off their face and hammered people looking perfectly presentable.
Just realised he's younger than my daughter at uni. Not really surprising if he gets in a state every now and then at his age.
One of the reasons I took up photography is that I’m one of those rare people who can’t relax in front of a camera. I always pull odd faces. AnD as I pointed out - the comment about Jordan was a clarification of someone else’s point. I neither know nor care whether he was off his face, like I said it was a works Christmas party - they’ve worked their arses off this year and deserve a night out IMHO. I quit smoking over 30 years ago, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone - but if Wilks is unfit I’m afraid I’m already dead.
