    Hearing he will be the first to leave in January. Thiam's agent has also been speaking to other clubs but struggling to agree a fee, so it's looking like he could sign a ore contract agreement with a club in either France or Belgium.

    I hope the likes of Cavare and Thiam don't make us their only British club. It would be good if they stuck around over here and helped another club to promotion.

    Hard to say pal, January is proper panic season so things can happen very quickly without much warning IE Winnall to Wednesday.

    The scouts that have been at oakwell over the last 5 home games are interesting though. Preston have had a scout out for the last 5, and Cardiff have watched us twice since we played them a few weeks back. If I was a betting man then I'd say they're both looking at Mowatt... I don't think Woodrow will leave, I don't think he's done enough to draw attention. That's not me criticising him, because he's a brilliant player for us but I can't see many clubs wanting to take a gamble on him, especially with what the club value him at.

    Also on Wilks, if he was to leave I think it would be on loan. Alot of clubs will be out off by the court case that is coming up. Hull wanted him at the start of the season, so if any club was to go in for him on a perm then it wouldn't surprise me to see him rocking up there.

    What’s the clubs valuation? Are we gunna see proper money for once? Surely mowatt, Woodrow, Chaplin are valued minimum £5m each. We are a championship club. We need to start demanding championship money for players.

    Couldn't tell you a figure mate as I don't know but I'm assuming Woodrow would be around 4m. Mowatt hasn't got long left on his deal so that doesn't help, but he's our key man so you would hope that the club wouldn't sell him unless a silly bid came in for him but you jist never know with this lot.

    @redrum he's been to watch us a few times, all at home but to my knowledge he hasn't watched us play away once since he fell out of the squad. I could be wrong though. Jist for the record there hasn't been any fall outs, just sounds like he's not a good fit for the team. Such a shame as the boy is probably the most talented player on our books, but he hasn't shown it. To be fair to him though, he's not had much of a chance either... I really hope it would work out for him here but it doesn't look promising.

    I agree with what you say we should be demanding them fees but Preston wont pay 5 million for mowatt they broke their transfer record to sign potts and the was less than 2 million

    Simple answer to them then is ‘get fudged’ we need to get a back bone. If Peterborough can do it in league one I’m sure we can. It’s a brilliant division is championship but we need the higher transfer fees to compete or we need to tell them who are not willing to meet our demand to keep off our talent! UP THE REDS!

    Yeah I was crying out for us to sign him as soon as we were promoted. Always looked class when I saw him for donny last season and against us at the keepmoat. I think he will go on and have a good career hope he stays for longer and it works out with us but wouldnt be suprised if I never saw him in a red shirt again. (No inside info just wouldn't) an i agree he hasn't been given much of a chance.

    The going rate for a consistent Championship striker in his mid-20's is closer to £10 million. I would be deeply displeased if we were to sell Woodrow for much less than that (though not remotely surprised).

    We can easily sell both in the summer, the way they're playing, for good money if we get relegated Only a fool would cash in now. Let's wait and see but if Mowatt goes I can see us sinking faster than the titanic.
