I think a Conor was the best player we’ve had in the last 10 years but without AH we wouldn’t have turned that season around.

    Agreed.
Hammill gave us some priceless moments of brilliance, and his passion for the club made him a fans favourite and an adopted ‘tarn lad’.
But watching Conor grow from a timid young kid to a player who could control a game, on and off the ball, edges it for me. And not forgetting his stunning goals and assists.

Adam for me. Honourable mentions for one or two others but he was the catalyst for our success.

And he makes it into my all time Reds XI which Conor doesn’t.

Blimey, it's a bit early to ask isn't it... we haven't even played yet.

Conor for me as well ...just.
As mentioned above he grew so much as a player. He wasn't liked at first ... remember at one game a near fight in Ponty concourse because few were saying how bad he was and somebody defended him.

He grew as player and as a person... armband seemed to change him into a fighter. He loved the club as well and still speaks fondly of us.

Hourihane may have been the best but Hammill was my favourite.

Probably Hammill overall but Conor and Stones, for different reasons, deserve mentions.

Agreed. I stated Conor, above, as my best player.
But I just loved Hammill to the point I would have married him...and I am a straight bloke!!
