He seems to be upset that people being upset by her are being criticised even though he should hold her in high esteem due to the type of business he is in.

Pink, sunburnt or blood pressure middle aged WHITE MEN.

You need to read how it’s used on social media then.
It’s used to depict men of a certain age and colour.
It’s never used in reference to blacks, Asians or orientals.

 

Strange that, because they rarely seem to rant and rave about Brexit (where the term originared) for some reason.

 

It’s a racist term - but because it’s aimed at WHITES then it’s ok.

You're right. How can we forget the decades of middle class white men being abducted from Harrogate and York, placed in chains and then ferried over to Africa to toil endlessly for their rich, black masters. Even after the abolition of slavery there were years when they weren't allowed to sit at the front of the bus and were taunted with the term "gammon" by their former masters. It took the heroic efforts of civil rights leaders such as Rupert X to push for equality, but still even today they face both overt and subconscious prejudice at every turn.

He described what ‘gammon’ is.
White middle aged men - too much wine - blood pressure - pink - bloated.

‘Gammon’ is not used by these guys by accident.
It’s to undermine those WHITE people that have the hand on the levers of power in this country.

Jeez Nudge - you might have only just discovered this - but Gammon has been a common phrase for several years - and I'm well aware of what it means.

And have a think - Owen Jones is white and not exactly a teenager. Do you think he sees himself as a Gammon or a potential one?

You do realised what abuse OJ receives from the afore mentioned people because of 1...his views on Brexit and 2....his sexuality.....or is that why his writings upset you so much ?
