Having seen rumours about possible outgoing players has there been any news of incoming?

He's out of contract in the Summer. It's being reported that they want £2.5 Million for him. Link

I’m not certain but think his contract is up at the EOS. He is 26 though so pretty ancient by our standards....

They’ll struggle to get £1m for him with 6 months left on his contract and especially with him being 26...

26 years old, 200 plus games in English football and averages a goal every four games which is good for a winger/midfielder. He wouldn't have to learn a new language or get used to a new country. He would be settled here from the start.

If we got him for a couple of million I would see that as a significant boost.

I know this is about incomings but I didn’t feel this warranted it’s own thread. I’ve seen a few things on Twitter about Reading being interest in Mowatt. He can do better than them surely?

We won’t be looking at signing him. Let’s be honest.

Kevin Long is a possibility because he has been at Burnley for years and never featured regularly in the first team .As for Maddison on just can't see us paying out that kind of money for a 26 year old- it ain't in the 'Plan'. I think another foreign player or two is more likely. Just hope if it's a forward he has more presence than Schmidt and more commitment
than Wilks(if what we are hearing is to be believed). I would have liked to have seen Wilks gI've a chance up front at Derby in hindsight cos Schmidt was inconspicuous to say the least.

    Not sure.

He did play all 90 minutes for Burnley yesterday in the FA cup.

Fair enough. I'm not against the signing I just think it could take him a while to get used to playing saturday tuesday in the championship against some very good players. Hope we dont start looking in the foreign leagues though.

We won't be signing Long, James, Maddison or anyone you all name.

It'll be lads from overseas. Austrian probably. Remember, these are players Struber wants.

Gerhard Struber's move to England could trigger a pull for Wolfsberger AC. The FC Barnsley coach wants to loosen some of his old WAC charges and convince them of an adventure in the championship.

According to the paper, the first transfer hammer is already certain: midfield ace Marcel Ritzmaier should already agree with FC Barnsley and will move to England in winter. The eighth's contract would expire anyway next summer, so a high transfer fee is not to be expected.
