Yesterday morning I got on the M1 at Tankersley. I noticed a car in the outside lane in my rear view mirror. It wasn’t as busy as a usual Monday, so perfectly possible to overtake using middle lane, and get back inside. The car remained in the outside lane the whole time, in spite of not coming past me, and in spite of the middle lane and sometimes both inside lanes being free. The car eventually came past at Woolley services - 2 junctions / 8 miles or so later. Anyone want to hazard a guess at the make of car?
Audi or BMW? My favourites are the ones who sit one lane in from the fast lane though for mile after mile even if there are 2 clear lanes inside and a queue is building up. I also particularly like the ones that speed up when you go to pass them - why?
Defo be a BMW. I could never ever own one purely because of the awful image they give of a complete dick behind the wheel. There’s bound to be exceptions I suppose but I’ve not seen many!
I might have gone with Range Rover, but you've said "car" so I'm thinking something smaller... I'll have to go with BMW. Or was it a police car?
My last car was a BMW - I actually find Audi drivers seem to have taken on the mantle of being the biggest dicks these days Now got a Jag so different image altogether - dont drive in a hat and driving gloves though and havent got a sheepskin coat
I’ve just bought a Q5, love it, not compulsory to hog the outside lane which I hate to see. It does have indicators and doesn't come with a subscription to sales reps monthly. We’re not all arseoyles. Whenever I come south on the M1 to the match there’s always folk in the 4 lane bit who just stick in their lane regardless. I’m going faster than them in lane 1, lane 2 empty but they’ll sit in 3 or 4. Boils my pyss to be honest.
Likewise. I drive a Beemer and it knows which lane to use and the indicators work fine. It also seems to know not to bully little old ladies, new drivers, or those driving somewhat slower than I might be at the time.
