    Northern Rail have just announced that they're closing the website today and will instead be giving out 10p tickets via a replacement bus service

    Tried to get a nice trip up to Ribblehead and was in process of paying via paypal and it crashed. 40p for two of us too.

    Have the tickets gone now? It holds them for a little while before timing out so they may come back on sale in 10/15mins after your purchase fails.

    Tried it several times but not gone through on paypal. Will keep trying. Think tickets have gone at that price now though

    Kept checking back late last night and this morning on off chance tickets came back down in price- just got them for 40p thanks @JamDrop . Something to look forward to in a couple of weeks.

    Apologies to anyone experiencing difficulties accessing tickets. It would appear my other half is on a crusade to buy as many trips as possible. Apparently we're going to Bridlington in February..

    When I mentioned that we went to Brid in in the summer on a gloriously sunny day, and it was still crap, he just said "well it only cost 80p"
