Do a lot of driving, in particular motorway driving & have drove **** cars, drove good cars & drove some in between but I’ve never noticed a trend of certain cars been driven worse than others.

Think it’s just a lazy stereotype with BMW’s & Audi’s. If anything I’d say blokes in white vans are the worst but that’s probably just because a couple have pissed me off in the last week or so.

My current grievance is 3rd lane ******* who used to be middle lane ******* before many of our motorways were extended to 4 lanes.

Whilst it would be easy to just undertake them I’ll indicate across from lane 1 or 2 to the outside lane to overtake them & indicate my way back across to the inside lanes to make a point.

They don't care, though. I've done that too and they very rarely pull in. They're the ones who really get my goat too and it seems ridiculous that we've paid all this money to widen the motorways only for them to move over 1 lane and cause even more mayhem than before. Like @Farnham_Red I'll carefully undertake if there's at least one clear lane between us rather than make 6 or more lane changes and if being penalised for that is what comes out of this drive towards "smart motorways" then that's just ridiculous.
