    Easier to not put shirt on then you can go wherever you want. Or just dont take ur coat off.....

    I'm the same and have never had a problem with being with Huddersfield fans having their shirt showing. No different to when we play there and Aspley is rammed with both sets of fans. Should be fine anywhere.

    I once met a work colleague and his family in the Dove. They are Coventry City fans and they
    had their club shirts and scarves on. My mate and myself were wearing our Reds scarves.
    We enjoyed a pre-match pint and returned for a couple after the game. We didn't encounter any hostility.

    I generally like discussing the game with away fans. A decent insight into things to watch for before the game, and how they saw us after the game. Most places aren’t bothered, just a few idiots who want it to kick off.

    There's just the one pub opposite the station that always has a sign out saying "home fans only". Any other pub will probably be fine though.

    Will be a bunch of us in Temple of Muses. As long as there are no arse holes on view all will be welcome. Never seen any problems with Huddersfield in the last 2 decades.

    The Dove is definitely ‘away fan friendly’ and definitely packed by 1 p.m. - at the West Brom game they were turning away Baggies’ fans before 1 p.m. because there were so many already there and fewer Barnsley fans. They let Barnsley fans in to even things up a bit but they are only supposed to have 80 people in there so you can see why it gets packed - get there for noon and you should be OK

    I may give the Temple a go on Saturday, no worries on the arse hole side as my brother is a regular in Barnsley anyway and has many mates from his pit days.

    Very welcome in there. We'll all be in. No arseholes, no problem with nice folks. It's a football match. I don't get this hostility ******. Football has been plagued by arseholes. They make up about 5% of the people that go to games. All humans have arseholes. 5% of football fans are the arseholes of us all.
