    I’d have a guess at - Struber dictated the change - hence the length of time it took to negotiate his appointment.
    I’m starting to believe we have a very special manager on our hands here.
    Stendel was good - this guy is even better.

    And his club will no doubt expect him to feature in all the games which is great if he lives up to the hype but if he needs more adjustment time we as a club will suffer

    So long as the lad turns out to be better than we've already got, he should be OK.
    Our Coach must have confidence that he is, otherwise it would be foolhardy to
    bring him in at this stage. We can't afford " experiments", so the lad has got to be on his game
    from the off.

    Made me chuckle Jay. I love a bit of sarcasm. However I would take issue with your last sentence we haven't had enough of them over the years to judge but I think the ones we have had have done ok.

    I thought, prior to this transfer window, we'd only signed two players from the Austrian leagues: Knasmulner and Schmidt. Admittedly, Schmidt has scored two very good goals, but I'd be very hard pressed to say he was a good signing considering the rest of his contribution so far. Knasmulner never played and contributed about the same.

    I’d say it’s pretty obvious he’s a talented player with his pedigree but with any young player it’s pot luck how they get on over such a short period here on loan.

    The one thing I can say is I feel we need a right back just like I felt we needed a central midfielder.

    I’d also like a centre back & a combative centre forward so two out of four so far.

    I'd be stunned if we don't add both those to the squad before February is upon us. It's blatant the need for a central defender, and the target man option needs to be added.

    I agree on central defender, but disagree on target man. That’s just not the way we play and it’s not worth paying for a target man to not use on the off chance we’ll suddenly use one
