Bambo Diaby

I’d be happy if the lad wasn’t seen again in the team this season. A constant liability at the back, if we could only buy two more players this window I’d get two centre backs and throw Diaby in the under 23s for the rest of the season.

 

The whole defence is ****.

Huddersfield are the worst away team to visit this season and we will probably gift them at least another goal.

 

Both the center backs are liabilitys.

 

Both CBs at fault for their goal, went to sleep and made half arsed attempts to clear it before they smashed it in the top corner. Let’s hope one of the CB slots is improved in this window or we will be extremely lucky to stay up.

 

Get halme and fielding there. Won’t do any worse!

Rancid !.... I like that way of describing them lol, and Im going to use that word more in conversations on here.

 

Well I’m surprised to see this after logging in.

I must be biased because I thought the lad did ok today under a lot of pressure, especially in the final 15 mins.

 

We simply (also!!) have to tell them to stop faffing about at the back ......neither of them are ball playing centre backs and yet are constantly gifting goals away.
That said Andersons ball to brown for the first goal was a worldy...but look lads you are ball winners......just do that and give it to someone in the midfield who can pass...or put it in touch ....pleeeeeeeaase!

 

I don’t get how the kid, that made his first senior appearance about a month ago, manages to look like a seasoned pro, in comparison to the other defenders.

Mads and Bambo are becoming a bit of a comedy duo. There’s potential with both of them, but we can’t afford to wait for it to happen. I don’t think I’ve seen a less aggressive set of central defenders. They’re both f*cking huge and spend half their time being out muscled by opposition’s forwards. Not to mention how clumsy they both are..

 

They are being told to play like Beckenbauer!!!! Even when they can't.

When it comes to actually defending they are not that bad.

Someone ought to add up the cost of all those players attacking them this afternoon, and then look at how many chances Huddersfield actually had.

 

Didn't think Anderson was that bad today. However Diaby is diaby-olical . How a professional footballer can completely miss a ball is beyond me. Basics, keep your eye on the ball. Put them right back in the game that mistake when we should have been coasting to victory.

 

There is a difference between playing it out from the back and trying to dribble it past players. This is what needs to stop. Pass and move.

 

The scissor kick he did for their goal was truly woeful.

 

He's a liability but Anderson doesn't inspire confidence either.

 

After a shaky start (giving the ball away stupidly) I didn’t think Anderson did too badly for the rest of the game.

I was disappointed with Bambo though. Didn’t win as much in the air, messed up his clearance for their goal and I’m not sure what he was doing when he got booked, so late with that.

I want them both to become very good defenders for us but unless they can kick out the mega mistakes they keep gifting, that’s not going to happen.

 

The 2 centre backs make errors when trying to pass/dribble out - ok you can have an argument that that’s not their game......but for me they also make far too many errors doing the job they’re supposed to do well, defending. We need a couple of incoming, even if it’s just to play one and give one of these two a hand, although the jury’s still out if they are up to being championship centre halves in my opinion.
