Yeah pretty good introduction considering we were up against a Sunday league clogging club .Diaby owes me a coffee after that tackle, bloody dropped mine
thought he had a good game after settling in following his two wild kicks in the first 10. he worked hard. tracked back. got stuck in and he has a good touch and a sweet left foot. I can see him developing into real asset on that performance. well done Gerhard for getting her man! ps would have loved it had that first half strike from him gone in.
Looked decent, alot more mobile than mowatt. Will become a key player. Can he take a free kick?? Were still crap at set pieces.
No yellow was correct no intent just the Huddersfield player just got to the ball before Bambo launched it and got kicked instead I’d have been furious if that had got red when the guy who completely scythed down Ritzmaier? in a fit of rage from behind just got a yellow for a premeditated kick
Did ok. Dint set the game on fire but wasn't rubbish either. Few nice touches and passes in 2nd half. Solid 6 out 10 with plenty of room for improvement once he gets used to the pace of the championship...
I thought he settled into the game really well after a nervous start. Some very good touches and passes later in the game.
His first touch looked very good... Be great if he got more chances to shoot because that shot in the 1st half wasn't half travelling.
Looked poor early on but got better & better. Biggest encouragement was that he had his best spell in the game in the last 20 minutes which shows he’s fit & rating to go
Tidy with a decent touch, looks to have a decent engine on him. Put the foot in a few times too. Not the easiest of games to make your debut in really, but lots of promise there I reckon.
Looked fit as a fiddle, looked like he’d been here all season and looks a good player. Nothing OTT either way. Just a solid and competent display. But like I say, context included he impressed me. And Thomas looked better central.
We have got to be patient and give the lad the time to settle in, get to know the players alongside him and get to grips with the training regime, food and his new surroundings. Give him another eight games or so and you could be watching a different player.
I thought he was quiet first half but our best player by a mile second half. Plenty of legs, looked to have a pass in him & definitely a tackle & just grew into it.
Agree he played well and agree we are crap at free kicks (apart from clark odours free kick v crewe which skimmed t'bar)
