Pretty please can you buy two new centre backs this month? Diaby and Andersen are utter garbage and wouldn't be good enough in the conference north. It's not a case of them being inexperienced etc, they make the same stupid mistakes because they don't have the quality for this level and never will.

Sort the defence out and we have a half decent team...

    Sorry - don't agree.

They are instructed - for better or worse - to play in a certain way. It gives me an irregular heart rhythm to see them struggle sometimes to play as required.

But I like them both and they are getting better.

We get the Centre backs sorted out and we’re climbing up the table. The full backs are solid enough as does our midfield and they great chances. The strikers are also capable of scoring as seen with Woodrow Brown and Chaplin.

    It’s just the centre backs

Two new centre backs and we will stay up convincingly. Of course we have to keep hold of our better players as well.

I do t believe for one minute that they've been asked to play as badly as they do. The two look as though they've no idea what the rules of football are and to be honest Andersen hasn't improved one bit since the day we signed him. Diaby very little.

As frustrating as it is, you’re aware how much Huddersfield paid for the their forward line aren’t you?

The value of their forward line is not the reason for our constant individual mistakes.

With respect, no coach would ask a player to play badly.

Each player plays to the best of their ablility - at least I believe so at BFC.

What is it about the "rules of football" that they do not follow?

As far as their not having improved from our first game, that is a matter of opinion. I think they have, and are getting better and have a lot on their plate being asked to play out from the back.

The two lads seem to be really good blokes with huge commitment and a lot of passion but, I’m afraid they’re just not up to it.

Centre half, probably more than any other position on the pitch, is about how well a pairing can operate together.

I genuinely don't believe that Diaby and Andersen are anywhere near as bad as people are making out. They're both very young, and have been chucked into one of the toughest and most unforgiving leagues in the world together. Proper sink or swim stuff. Personally I don't think Andersen is anywhere near ready, but I also think that if he had Pinnock beside him, he'd look nowhere near as rocky. Bambo I think is much closer, but without that bit of experience and know-how to guide him, he's also been thrown to the lions. Remember how shaky Marc Roberts looked at first, yet it was obvious that there was a good player in there, but that was only unlocked by the pressure being taken off him with the arrival of Long. Selling Pinnock was completely insane without a proper replacement being lined up. Even losing him next summer for nowt would have been far preferable to relegation, but we all know that anyway. Like most on here, I'm pretty confident we'll stay up if we sign an experienced centre half. If we don't, it'll be touch and go. Not only that, it could also irreparably damage Diaby and Andersen's careers before they've started.

I totally agree that if we'd kept Pinnock alongside one of these lads up until January it would be a different story. He's flying high at Brentford, probably the only one who left in summer that made the right choice football wise.

Diaby needs to work on concentration. Did ok apart from a mad 15mins when he lost his head after error that lead to the goal....

Thought Anderson was steady at the back yesterday and last few games. No issues there now after early season wobble.

Radlinger biggest concern. Clearly has talent. From rush out keeper, yesterday was complete opposite. Stay at home keeper is one thing but didnt even come to claim crosses or balls within own area or 6 yard box. Balance of the two would be perform. And when he opted to chest and play the ball rather than catch it, with player bearing down on him my heart was in my mouth. Great lad has confidence, but dont take unnecessary risks please sammy.

Two new centre-backs puts us back to August last year. They’d need 10 games to gel and understand each other.

Stick with what we have. It’s improving.

In the Championship, the quality of the strikers means teams often concede even when they win. You tend to see less clean sheets imo. We’re no different others.

Diaby as got most bottle out of them both. He’ll just try anything which is good and bad which makes me think he’ll come from a zero to an hero eventually. But for now in this position, we definitely need 2 cbs, were not asking for world beaters. Aslong as they can head a ball and clear it. That would be fine
