There was also people saying we did well to get the money we did for him!!
On that note....do we think we should have offered him in excess of what brentford did for say further 12 months and then sell (probably around £8 million) to get us through the early part of the season etc. I appreciate this goes against the plan and could upset the wage structure but im just throwing the question out there. ie When we have an exceptional tallent, pay them more than the others knowing we will sell at a higher value in the future.

Is he actually first choice these days or is he just getting a game because someone’s injured?

I know they tried a back 3 early on in the season & Pinnock was the fall guy dropped to the bench when it didn’t work & they went back to a back 4. Fingers crossed he keeps his place anyway

 

He’s first choice now.

 

Selling him was such a **** idea. Even if he'd have gone this window, you'd imagine that it wouldn't have been for much less than what we got for him in the summer. Plus, I'd wager that we'd have another ten points on the board, and both Mads and Bambo would be much better players for having spent a few months under Pinnock's guidance.

 

If we get relegated I’ll lay the blame firmly on the board for selling Pinnock and Lindsay. The money we received is gone straight away by being relegated, and anyone could’ve told the board that we need and experienced CB. Should’ve kept one until Jan, or even let their contract run down.

It’s Marc Roberts a few years ago all over again - that sent us down, and we never learn.
