Looked easily 5000 away fans in the north on Saturday, maybe a lot turned up to pay on the gate! No problems at all, shows the stand should easily house 5000 minimum if needed!
Well I've just had a look on Birmingham's ticket allocation. We have given them less than 2 thousand, and that a full allocation. Seems abit strange that, I know its a Tuesday night but at 15 quid a ticket I wouldn't really be that surprised if they sold them. But according to the article it doesn't look like they'll get any more if they did.
I've seen 4,436 in the YP and two other papers as well. Good turn out that. How many did we take to their ground.?
They can have up to 4400 if they want them, but can't see more than 2000 coming on a night even at £15, £10 & £5
Think we had around 2,500, they only give you that many now and we sold everything. Not bad at 30 quid a go, and credit to Hudders selling over 4,000 at 28 or whatever it was.
Clubs are only given an allocation of what they can potentially sell - based on season and historical figures. Then you have to calculate if you want ‘pay-on-the-gate’ on the day. If so, you’ll allocated 4,200 and save 200 for on the day. Giving a total of 4,400 altogether. Hudds have never really been a trouble club at Oakwell, so pay on the day was accepted. You wouldn’t do it for Weds or Utd if they close to selling it out and too much chance of trying to get in home ends. Clubs like Brentford will only get something like an initial 2,000 allocation - as that’s the average they’ll take up North. It helps us plan with catering and security arrangements and fees.
