Probably just me, but all the talk of Woodrow being the high value player, I am starting to believe that Conor Chaplin is rapidly transcending Woodrow as a goal threat. Cauley, for me, at least (and I know he does quite a lot of 'unspectacular' useful stuff in the midfield and puts a shift in) seems to have lost that incisiveness he had early on when scoring. I have found him quite frustrating of late when he has has found himself with a scoring opportunity and blazed over the bar. Currently I have more confidence in Conor scoring when presented with a half chance than Cauley.
At the moment I would be more upset of we lost Conor than Cauley. Then again that is just a general impression I have after last several games before Cauley got injured and I am probably talking bo**ox for those in the know.

Cauley wants to score goals and has been consistent for us over his time here. Great to see Chaplin s goal tally growing but I think if I had to pick one it would be Woodrow.

I thought the team would suffer more with woodrow out of the side, it hasnt...... Take chaplin out of the side, not just for his goals but his tenacity and work rate then i think we'd see how key chaplin is.
