    Could have gone either way.

Those games usually go for the home side.

We don't seem to play like a relegation team these days. Today they were no better than us.

Where did we play well ?
defence were all over, finishing decision making up front not good enough .
Bristol as a team were nothing to write home about . Ball retention and distribution from midfield all over shop.
Bristol as bad as us though so evened it up a bit.
I wouldn’t say we played well and if we had played same as we did against Hudds we would have comfortably won that game .
Hopefully we return to winning ways on Tuesday or at least competing better put this behind us as bad day at office .

Thought we were much the better side overall. Thought Bristol were poor and there for the taking today.

We did play well. Had we took our chances we would have won. We didn’t. Bristol did.

The pace, movement & options through the middle were a joy to watch. Carved them open countless times in the 2nd half. Better finishing and we’d have been home & hosed by the hour mark.

Had Bristol taken all theirs they would have won as far as that goes .
If you think we played well that’s your opinion and your entitled to it .
I thought we moved the ball well when not under pressure or challenged other than that we were wasteful .
Our chances also came from bad defending on their part tbh.

Strange how two people can watch the same match and form such diffing views of it. I thought we did okay today considering the changes we had to make. Clarke Oduor was a big miss but nonetheless we did enough to win comfortably. I did sense change in the balance of the game in the latter minutes and it came as no surprise when the seemingly inevitable goal for them came

Yes it’s my opinion on the game I saw. They took one more chance that they could have scored from than we did?

It is strange , I saw their goal coming from that side last fifteen minutes . I could see they’d been ordered or just saw that wing as the weak link .
It could so easily have been three apiece as far as that goes.

Imho, i thought we were much the better side. We were much better in possesion than the robins and were stretching them with our pace and movement especially 2nd half. Played well, my only concern (sorry) is that i can see how far we have come footballing wise when i look at Ben Williams and think.....narrr. Im not sure he is at the required standard for the kind if football we play and this division.
Thats not to take away the fact we did well today and unlucky not to come away with at least a point. Well played lads, enjoyed our game today.

I haven't seen it, but the BBC reporter was full of praise for Barnsley. The last 3 times they've had a reporter at our game, there's been the same reaction. I think neutrals tend to think we are in a false position.

    Nevertheless, ONE shot on target!
We deserve praise for today’s performance, a million miles away from the early part of the season. A MILLION MILES I TELL YOU!!
    Rejoice!

it wasn't a bad day at the office.

We outplayed them for much of the game.

Our problem is the final score.

We missed loads. They missed loads.

We looked good most of the time. A draw would have been fair. Especially against a team in their league position, and with the financial clout they have.

I was quite proud of the way we passed it about, and from time to time sliced them open.

We've barely been out of the relegation zone so we can hardly be in a false position. Pleased to hear it was close but worried about injuries. Struber has had his pick of the squad on the whole since his arrival and now things are more difficult.

But it’s the same old same old way we conceding we not learning .
It’s no good saying we didn’t deserve to lose when we have cos that’s not gonna keep us up .
The great escape under Flivker saw us winning these types of encounters whereas five mins to go we were seeing games out or winning .
Before game I would have but your hand off for a draw , after watching I’m bitterly disappointed we didn’t win it .
Ok we weren’t gonna win but at least fight for a draw five mins to go not let a winger run almost full length of pitch and cross to an unmarked player .
If because we tapped it about a bit untill pressured that you think we didn’t deserve to win well that’s fine but it’s not gonna keep us up .
We didn’t deserve to go down last time there were worse teams than us . Bolton firvone , but they’ll managed to hold out fir a result they shouldn’t have got namely against us for one .
