.. at £36 for their tickets at Oakwell. Whilst I agree that £36 is too much for any match at this level, it was £39 for us to go in their dilapidated shed.AT least they get a good view, with access to things like toilets. Really hope we beat them. Preferably with some excruciatingly jammy goal.
It’s all brought about by their own club’s pricing policy so no good whinging to us. Chansiri is the one to blame. Agree about really hoping we beat em but it just never seems to happen. We’re well overdue a bit of good fortune against them....
If they felt so strongly they'd refuse to pay it. Instead, they'll still pay up the 36 quid like the little bitches they are and we'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
They are football fans, like our fans. The only losers here and fans of both clubs. I think its disgusting that we are charging so much. How does charging them more help any fans?
reciprocal pricing. They’d only be laughing at us if we paid 39 quid to go to their place back in August and then we charge them 20
Why would be not charge them top wack? We know its going to sell out. If we charged them 45 it would still sell out. No one has a gun to anyones head in all this. You can always just stop at home. They really dont have a right to moan tho when we got charged 39 to go to their ground. Is it cos there massive and were little Barnsley??
But that suggests that if they charged us less we would do the same? So we aren't doing it for the money but to punish the Wednesday fans? And to help with our fans who suffer as a result too?
Aaah the annual bleat by away fans that don’t understand reciprocal pricing. There is a simple way to get pricing down Wednesday, get your own house in order and charge us less like many other clubs do when the offer is sent.
We aren’t the ones punishing the fans. It’s well known we offered all the clubs reciprocal pricing at the start of the season so we will match what they charge us. Wednesday clearly declined and even then we’re still charging their fans less then what they charged us.
Yes we are the ones punishing the fans. We set our own prices. The club can hide behind any justification they like, they are charging our own fans £36. That's a fact.
Think about it........ if the first game against them had been at Oakwell there wouldn't have been the precedent set. We could, I say could, have charged them £25 in order to fill the ground, then the return fixture would be priced similarly. If they then charged us £40 we'd be in our rights to complain ... massively. What i want to know in all this price fixing is, who casts the first stone?
Only their own board to blame - club sat down with all clubs at start of season - Wednesday like Leeds wouldn't budge so tough in this instance
We are charging more to make more money. That's the only explanation that makes sense to me. If we are charging more because they did that seems like a petty and childish was to a run a business.
