That we came back from 0-3 down to win 4-3. Can anyone tell me if we've ever actually done that in our history? I've seen us overturn 2-0 but I don't think I've ever witnessed it from 3-0
Fulham 1982, we were 3-0 down after 15 minutes, Ian Banks scored a penalty shortly after the third. I think Tony Cunningham scored the winner.
Last comeback I recall was against hull 2006 2 0 to 3 2. Apart from that it’s always happened to us majority of the time. Makes me right angry when I think about it
Was trying to find details of the game (to try and solve the 10 men issue) Stumbled across this: http://www.footballprogs4sale.co.uk...nsley-v-Fulham-198283-football-programme.html Programme of that game on sale. £1.50
20 years ago I could have kept it going until the morning papers arrived Internet has taken a lot of fun out of my life !
It was. I was only a young 'un back then, but it was just wave after wave of Barnsley attacks. The Ponty End in full voice with "Come on You Reds" again and again. Cunninghame with a diving header if I remember rightly. Fulham had some good players back then - Houghton who went on to play for Liverpool and Republic of Ireland was one.
I seem to recall a game when clarkey was player manager and we went three nil down, he put himself on and scored a hatrick in a 4:3 win. Or did I dream that aswell.
