    So we now have 3 CBs and one of these is probably our best option in defensive mid. Got to hope we have someone else coming in.

    It is and if he cant settle up there we may move him on anyway in the summer, especially if we manage to stay up. Just a feeling I have that he won't play for us again.

    a good move for a young lad who has massive potential. also a v interesting move in that Daniel has signed him following all the brouhaha about the club signing kids without consulting the manager.

    Good luck to him. The games will do him good and I believe he will have a decent career with us once he's played more games.

    Sky Sports Football on Sunday afternoon we get to hopefully watch him play. Home debut on TV against Rangers the 2nd is a good place to start.

    I'd have kept him here personally, don't believe he was anything like as bad as some made out and has the ability to play in numerous roles. Hope he does well up north and comes back a better and more confident kid. Some of the abuse, including of a racial nature has been awful to see.

    I don't think he was good enough yet to be championship ready so it's a good move in a way but it leaves us desperately short at the back if we don't bring in another who is championship ready

    I hope you're right. My post wasn't an opinion on his ability or a criticism of him - I actually think he has the potential to be a good player. I just have a feeling that he won't play for us again.
