What can be attributed to the manager? Surely Mowatt not starting? Deciding to start with our new signing? Swapping Radlinger for Collins?
Seem to think Dale Jennings didn’t have the best bebut either but I was looking for something to clutch at
The club knew they were signing 3 men who have had to adapt to a new country let alome a new league and standard of football. To expect them to crack on and perform on the Saturday days after dumping their suitcase is madness. They might be great players for us but if they are, will most likely take months to settle in. It'll be too late. We needed players ready to perform who know their way around and who've worn the tshirt of our situation. Marc Roberts was on the bench for Brum today. Oh how I'd have loved to loan him back til the summer.
TE="Jay, post: 2416007, member: 6655"]Wait til you see our new signing.[/QUOTE] new owners needed quick. we cannot keep buying austrians their top flight only like league 1. someone has to do their homework
Tbh since he brought in new signings we have gone backwards. I would imagine first division in Austria is probably a much lower quality than probably league one here. Daft policy to keep signing players when they have had little or no effect on the team.
We’ve conceded 4 goals and it could have been 5 or 6 to a team in a division lower, we’re a shambles.
Much as I'm happy that we recognised the need to buy a centre half and broke the ludicrous under 26 policy, you have to be worried that we're bringing in players from a team that are in a league where they are below the team for which Christoph Knasmullner is a star player.
Get some more lakers bought that we have never heard of. Always works. Ritzmaier and sollbauer and ludewig.
For me both those keepers are poor and not up to the job. No commanding of the area, far too quiet, crap on crosses despite being tall. The defensive problems start there.
Radlinger had to get dropped after tuesday, if I see him in goal again it will be too soon. Suprised anderson didnt get dropped aswell.
