    It is and it isn’t.

    We couldn’t wish for a better striker, fair enough.

    We could have have wished for a half decent centre half though, and that just might have made a difference.

    Woodrow and Chaplin alone can’t keep us up when we’re so leaky at the other end.

    I'm talking quality of player, not necessarily position but are you thinking we'd be better off with an equally good CH instead (in theory)?

    Yeah, I think it’s what we’ve been crying out for all season.

    I think keeping Woodrow and Mowatt is only a token gesture now. Both will probably be off in the summer, and we’ll bring more new faces in.

    I didn’t say we didn’ I said retaining Woodrow wasn’t necessarily better than any new signing

    Of course it’s great to keep woody, at least for now, but had we brought in a decent centre half even better.

    Your new man solbauer may indeed be the man for the job, that was never in question, neither was sacrificing Woodrow for a defender.

    Solbauer might be better than glav ever was
