In the summer when both move on which one is the better player?, which one will be most sought after? what is each one worth? and who will be sold for the most? Cauley should be worth the most, good pedigree, scored lots of goals in the championship and league 1. If Toney is valued around £10m what is Woodrow worth?.
Woodrows proven in championship in a poor team, Toney is younger and there owner doesnt sell for peanuts. I imagine cauley fee will be undisclosed all money re invested into the playing squad.
Woodrow. When Cauley leaves unless something changes in the interim he will go with my best wishes and regard. You have behaved like a true professional. You will be a BFC legend.
If Toney is worth £10m then, if the valuation is by our Board, Woodrow must be worth at least £400,000. No danger.
I think the ideal striker would be Toney Woodrow. It's like Tony Woodcock without the co ck with an 'e'.
Toney may be valued at that but no way will they get that for him. That would be the figure we should be looking at for Woodrow.
Woodrow is better but will go for less. IMO Toney can't lace Woodrow's boots! Here's the negative part, Toney will go for £10m and Woodrow circa £6m! If the Peterborough chairman gets £10m for Toney then Conman should get £15m for Woodrow!
Woodrow is the best striker we've had this century. As he is today if we'd had him in the Bassett days of Wembley either Dyer or Shipperley would have been on the bench as he'd have been playing. He's easily a 10 million pound striker but we all know Toney will go for more in the summer.
Getting a blowjob off Taylor Swift while KateBeckinsale sits on your face, or income tax? Which is best?
All this about Peterborough getting top dollar for there players is a complete myth as far as I’m concerned. They are all mouth about how much they value their players at but in reality their sales are only average. The chairman valued Toney at £10m in the last window but it didn’t happen despite promotion chasing championship clubs being interested
I’d guess Peterborough will get at least £8m for Toney and will get an undisclosed sum for Woodrow, which I doubt will be more than £4m. Probably get £2m max for Mowatt, £3m for Chaplin and maybe around the same for Brown. Might get our money back on Wilks and £500k or so for McGeehan too. Could be £14m in the coffers (ought to be a lot more if we play hard ball) come summer. Big, big transfer window for the future of our football club. Pity it’s in such incompetent hands.....
Good post. Funnily enough I went out for a few beers last night with some Huddersfield supporting mates and we got chatting about this situation! IMO we will get circa £12m for Woodrow, Mowatt, Chaplin and Brown, so deducting the 6m we will supposedly lose (although it may be less than that with reduction in wages etc) then we should have £6m left in the kitty. Can't see us spending anything like that and even if we do then I doubt it will get spent wisely!
Toney gets the goals that gets them six million from promotion and in the summer it's even more likely they get the ten million they want, so it will be like he's made them 16 million. If we sold out Big Four of Woodrow, Mowatt, Brown and Chaplin we'd be lucky to get that amount combined with our owners.
